This is my talent scouting account for my newly set up business selling original framed comics and comic book art.
I am currently looking for talented artists to join up with me and sell their original comic and concept art through my new website.
My main business is photography and I have a business called Ninjaprints (www.ninjaprints.com) where I sell prints and framed photographic images of my own work including some images I have represented by the Saatchi Gallery.

I am currently recruiting concept and comic book artists to submit work through my recently set up business and website www.comicbookart.co.uk
In brief I am offering a fully outsourced outlet and marketing platform for talented artists from all areas of the world, prints, framing and canvases are dealt with by myself and profits from sales are split 50/50 between myself and the contributing artist.
By building a large range of original artists we can bring a large number of people through the site and cross market to an active community.

Would you be selling artwork inspired by comic characters and not necessarily used on/in the comics?
hi mate,
basically pretty much anything and everything goes, Im looking to get a range of artists, across the board from concept work to full page comics spreads and offer up prints and canvas prints to my customers. It does not need to be an official comic character at all, its more giving people alternatives and some cracking art to choose from.
I ran something similar on my photography site www.ninjaprints.com a few years ago with other photographers, painters and artists and we actually had a fairly decent run of things for a short while (till I had to move hosts and never started that part up again).
There is obviously a call for peoples favourite characters if you know what I mean, and a large number of the people I market to at the moment are around my age group (30 ish) so they are into their early issue 2000ad and characters, but at the same time a few people have approached me about getting non specific pieces with general character style requests (like badass women heroes etc).
